N.S.S. has 4 servicing units, with separate programme officer organize a number of activities every year.

Special Camp

N.S.S. Volunteers conducted a special camp for 10 days in some villages. Various activities like planting of the saplings, leveling the ground, cleaning the road, free health camp and veterinary camp, rehabilitation of liquor and drug addicts, importance of self employment for ladies, small savings and property rights for women were enlightened during the camp.

Cancer Awareness Programme

Meenakshi Mission Hospital and Research Center with Hindustan Petroleum Corporation organized a Cancer Awarness Campaign form 10.12.2003 to 16.12.2003. Ten volunteers participated and collected donation to a tune of Rs.3,500/- for Meenakshi Research Center for rehabilitation of some Cancer patients.

Blood Donation

Many volunteers participate in blood donation camps conduct at The American College, Syndicate Bank and Rajaji Medical Hospital in association with Lions Club, Madurai on different dates during this academic year.

Sales Day

N.S.S. Volunteers canvassed the self help groups of adopted villages to sell their home made products in our College.
